Jean Nygård

 I am a digital artist and webdesigner currently working at Kulturhuset in Helsinki, Finland. My roots are up in the north near Vaasa, also Finland, and I've generally dedicated myself to understanding the complexities of human-computer interaction. Primarily I study the means to master both coding and graphics to be able to employ more accurate solutions to graphical tasks, leaving the mundane work for the machine and the creative work for the mind.

After all, the machines were built for handling such tasks, while the human mind was not.

In my daily workings i wield xhtml, css, php, javascript and the likes. In my nightly workings I mostly wield a wacom stylus. I generally support all things opensource and I love everything in the ways of texturing.
